How to ace a video interview

Most international hiring starts on video. Set yourself up for a clear, confident call.

1. Test camera, microphone and internet an hour before.
2. Sit facing a window or lamp so your face is well lit.
3. Use a plain, tidy background.
4. Look at the camera, not the screen, when you speak.
5. Keep a glass of water and a notepad nearby.
6. Close other apps and turn off notifications.
