Terms of Use

You must be at least 15 years old and provide accurate information. Employers must be legitimate businesses, agencies or institutions hiring for real jobs in Canada. One person or organisation per account.

• Applying, searching and creating a profile are free.
• You are responsible for the truth of your profile, resume, documents and answers to screening questions.
• Optional paid extras (such as premium resume, video resume creation or document verification) are described before you pay.

• Job posts must describe a real, lawful job located in Canada, with honest pay and requirements.
• You must comply with Canadian employment, human rights and privacy laws, including provincial employment standards.
• You must never charge candidates a fee to apply, interview or get hired.
• Candidate information may only be used to recruit for the job they applied to or that you unlocked them for.
• LMIA advertisements must meet current ESDC requirements; you are responsible for your LMIA application.

Job posting packages are prepaid in Canadian dollars through PayPal and are valid for the period shown at purchase. Unused posts expire with the package. Because job posts go live immediately, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or if a technical fault on our side prevented your posts from being published. An invoice is issued for every purchase.

• No discriminatory, misleading, illegal, adult or pyramid-scheme content.
• No scraping, spamming, or collecting other users' data.
• No attempts to break, overload or bypass the security of the portal.

We may edit, hide or remove any content and suspend accounts that break these terms.

AI interview scores, fit scores and generated descriptions are tools to assist people. Hiring decisions remain the employer's responsibility and should not be based on AI scores alone.

CareerPool connects job seekers and employers. We do not guarantee that any job seeker will be hired or that any job will be filled, and we are not the employer of any candidate. CareerPool is a job portal and does not provide immigration or legal advice.

To the extent permitted by law, 2476770 Ontario Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the portal after changes are posted means you accept them.
