Full job description
Client bookkeeping including data entry and allocation of income and expenses for clients in numerous diverse small businesses as well as reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Client payroll and payroll tax calculations
Sales tax, WCB, and Payroll reconciliation and remittance preparation for clients.
Numerous bookkeeping functions related to personal and small business income tax returns.

Duties
- Two to three years progressively responsible experience in the accounting and preferably in a professional accounting or bookkeeping practice.
- High-level proficiency in working with a off the shelf bookkeeping solutions to the likes of Sage and Intuit products and Microsoft Excel. A knowledge of other MS office products such as MS Word, Power-point & accounting program such as CaseWare, and tax preparation software such as Intuit Profile is an asset however not compulsory as inhouse training will be provided.
- Proficient keyboarding and calculator skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize daily activities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to take direction and work independently
- Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exude a positive and professional demeanor
- Complete commitment to confidentiality of client and company information.
- A willingness to learn and continue to grow in the field.
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
